Utilize the bodega pop up & panels to have a "One Stop Shop" opened up in the leasing office for residents to grab detergent, hand sanitizer, room sprays, gum, snacks, drinks!
MOVE-IN Day
Bodega tiktok always has videos of people making iced coffee. Follow this trend by having an iced coffee bar set up with flavor syrup, cold foam, toppings.

When you think "bodega", there’s typically munchies, greasy foods, guilty pleasures. Foods like a wrapped hot dogs or walking taco style (flamin hot cheetos with cheese sauce/toppings) or sweet treats like deep fried oreos, ice cream sundaes, and milk shakes will work great at our Bodega Pop Up.
Cardinal is partnering with Recess again to offer the Back to College Program. We are in the process of securing sponsors to provide items for your move-in day. We will have more details on your sponsors in the next couple of weeks!
Food bars: Grilled Cheese Bar, Late Night Cereal Bar, Pickle Bar, French Fry Bar. The ideas are endless!
In the meantime, this Summer is a great time for your community to start reaching out to local shops to promote your move-in day! Here are some sponsorship opportunities communities have executed in the past.
Create a flower stand residents can build a center piece for their new room/common area.
Use the community news papers + local newspapers to make vision boards or framed art for their new apartment.

This year’s campaign invites residents to write their own story and
express their individuality. It’s all about confidence, excitement, and new
experiences. And that’s exactly what we can carry on all year long —
from today to spring renewal and all the way through turn.
Set out to welcome residents and make sure they have everything
they need for a positive experience, give them shout-outs or treats for
birthdays and finals weeks, and do what you can to make them feel
seen. They are on the front page, after all.
